ADT-03-1100 series Carbon Monoxide Gas Transmitter / Detector is a necessity in at-risk areas according to Australian Law. Carbon Monoxide is a highly toxic gas, which limits red blood cells ability to distribute oxygen effectively; low doses can cause headaches and dizziness (with no permanent harm) & high doses can be fatal.
Carbon Monoxide can build up in areas with limited ventilation and enclosed spaces. Areas at risk include:
The ADT-03-1100 Carbon Monoxide gas transmitter/sensor is capable of digital measurement value processing and temperature compensation for continuous monitoring of ambient air to detect Carbon Monoxide concentrations (CO). The sensor element used is an electrochemical sensor with a standard range of 0-300 ppm or optional calibration ranges from 0-50 to 0-2000 ppm (as shown in the datasheet). The sensor comes in a variety of robust stainless steel or plastic ingress protected enclosures. Outputs include 4-20 mA or 2-10 VDC analogue outputs and an RS485 interface. Optional extras include the ability to add a relay with adjustable thresholds.
Built for standard digital signal output, this transmitter is compatible with the PolyGard series controllers the DGC as well as any other electronic control or automation system.
